About this video
What if switching on a light started with pulling a cord? Nowlight turns the effort of your hands into electricity. Pulling its cord generates power for lighting, and the device can also charge equipment such as a phone or radio.
Human movement provides the energy for these everyday needs. The design offers an alternative to burning fuel for light, with particular relevance to situations where access to electricity is difficult. Lighting and charging a small device are brought together in one tool.
