Imagine a rubbish bin whose place of work is on the water. Seabin is a floating filter designed to collect litter and small plastic particles from the water. It tackles waste in environments such as harbours and marinas.
The idea has been used in Australia and other countries. Its job focuses on a specific part of plastic pollution: collecting waste from the water in these settings. Cleaning up that waste and reducing the rubbish that reaches the water are connected parts of addressing the problem.
