About this video
Can the air offer a source of water where rain is scarce? Warka Water explores that possibility in places with humid air and limited access to water. Its tower-like structure gathers fog, dew and moisture from the surrounding air without using electricity.
The design featured here is around ten metres tall, with examples of the idea described in Asia and Africa. The structure depends on moisture already present in the local air. Local conditions are the starting point for this approach to collecting water.
